Happy Birthday to My Soulmate

April 4, 2007

“A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life.”¬† Richard Bach

“A soulmate is someone to whom we feel profoundly connected, as though the communication and communing that take place between us were not the product of intentional efforts, but rather a divine grace. This kind of relationship is so important to the soul that many have said there is nothing more precious in life.” Thomas Moore

It has been seven years now that we have been dancing this dance together, although it has been many more since the day I first fell in love with you. I can’t say every moment has been perfect, but I can say that I can’t imagine a single moment without you in it. We have shared a lot of tears, even more laughter, deepest sorrow and amazing joy . It has been a rollercoaster! I feel blessed that God has brought us together at last. You are an amazing husband and an amazing Daddy!

You are my best friend, my twin flame, my soul mate. You are the half that made me whole and I love you with all of my heart.

Happy Birthday!
